Lupakisyo Clement Mwakipiti was born in Dar es salaam, a regionally important economic center in Tanzania on January 5, 1993. After pursuing his higher education in Dalian he headed straight to Shanghai and started Clements Group.

Currently, the Clements Group has investments in manufacturing, agriculture, trading, finance, insurance, technology, real estate, transport and logistics, and food and beverages. The group is conducting business in the Mainland China, Hong Kong, United Kingdoms, East and South Africa.


Lupakisyo received his primary education in Dar es salaam at the Maendeleo Primary School and finished his secondary education from St. Matthew’s Secondary School in Dar Es Salam. In 2010 his mom decided to send him to Uganda for his High School years and he was admitted to the Bethany High School – Naalya in Kampala.

After finishing his high school studies Lupakisyo continued with his university education in China and joined one of the renowned university, Dongbei University of Finance and Economics in Dalian, China majoring in International Business Management.

Dongbei University of Finance and Economics it is one of the oldest and largest modern universities in Dalian. It is also one of the top schools in China. With it’s graduates occupying high level positions in government and and private sector, especially in banking and finance sectors.

Dongbei University of Finance and Economics is famous for its education. Notable alumni of the University include Zhuang Xinyi: Vice Chairman, China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), Tang Shuangnin: Chairman, China Everbright Banking Group, Wang Hongzhang: Chairman, China Construction Banking Group, Zheng Zhijie: President,China National Development Bank, Liu Kegu: Vice President, China National Development Bank, Lu Xin: Deputy Minister, Ministry of Education of China, Chen Zhenggao: Governor, Liaoning Province, Dong Dasheng: Deputy Director, National Audit Bureau, Li Wancai: Mayor of Dalian.

During his time at Dongbei, Lupakisyo started to analyze his life. He learned to balance the Chinese way of life with his native African way of living. In order to support himself and help his mom Lupakisyo did several jobs such as being a waiter at Diamond Bay where the Dalian high end monthly parties are held, modeling and he was also working as  an educational consultant in kindergartens and training centers.


After Graduation in 2016, Lupakisyo headed straight to Shanghai and started Clements Group.
